Breathtaking view or rather the cosy parlor? Our ski hut offers both. Chalet Güggel definitely deserves its name. The completely wooden interior invites you to linger. And you can enjoy the winter sun on the terrace, which has multiple levels.
The homely atmosphere of the mountain hut has been preserved since the beginning of the Güggel. In spite of the 220 seats there is an intimate atmosphere in our restaurant. Summer, sun and sunshine in the middle of the winter. Our sun terrace offers a view that is second to none. Various bars and tables leave nothing to be desired. Even with over 700 outdoor seats it feels like being in a small chalet. For the small appetite there are self-service tables and the two most beautiful picnic tables of the Jakobhorn.
Why go to the sea for sunbathing when Chalet Güggel is much closer to the sun? Instead of looking at the waves, you can enjoy the breathtaking alpine panorama and the sun on our lambskin- and mattress-padded deckchairs. One deck chair offers enough space for two people. During the week (Mon-Thu): 5 CHF per hour and person
On weekends and public holidays (Fri-Sun): 25 CHF per couchette

We are happy to prepare our menu suggestions according to the guest's wishes. For events and celebrations we design the menu according to the organizer's specifications. We consider allergies and offer vegan, vegetarian, lactose- and gluten-free dishes.
